Inspired by Texan bbq traditions where grilled meats are rubbed with spices and cooked low and slow over indirect heat from oak, pecan or hickory wood fire.  This smoky blend will be right at home at summer BBQs but use it any time of year to add that lovely outdoorsy flavour to roasted or grilled foods. Perfect with beef as well as pork, lamb, poultry, fish or seafood. 



This is a smoky, bold, earthy blend with sweet undertones that combines paprika and coriander with aromatic notes of fennel, allspice and nutmeg and a hint of mustard seeds and orange peel.

Great with

  • Rub on pork, beef, chicken, fish or seafood (mixed with olive oil, garlic and your favourite herbs) and marinate for a couple of hours (or overnight) before grilling.  
  • Get creative and sprinkle onto soups or stews for a warm, earthy southern touch.
  • Mix a few teaspoons of Pit Master with some olive oil and drizzle over roasted vegetables before sliding into the oven, for oodles of flavour.
