Lamb cutlets are so easy to grill and so flavourful. These are spiced with our Turkish-inspired Ottoman spice blend for subtle spicy flavour and finished with a sprinkle of Smoked Merlot Salt. Delicious with any side but try serving with a bit of humous or tahini and fresh green salad. Satisfaction guaranteed!
- Pre-heat the BBQ or oven grill on high. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Ottoman with a generous lug of olive oil, the garlic, lemon juice and herbs to create a paste. Add the lamb and cover with the marinade on all sides. Let marinate for at least 1 hour or 2 hours if possible.
- Grill the lamb cutlets for 3-5 minutes on each side depending on your preference (cooking appliances can differ so check during grilling to ensure it doesn't over cook).
- Sprinkle the lamb with some Smoked Merlot Salt and serve on a bed of humous or tahini with your favourite side. Great with all kinds of greens, fresh salad, coleslaw or chips.
